Jake Hayes makes hard things look like I can do them, and I suck, so that’s a skill.

He makes them look easy, approachable, stylish. Maybe it’s because of his enormous hops and his ability to light-foot shit that should be snapping boards like ollieing over a bump to bar and into a front lip on a curb. Yeah, it’s probably that. I could watch Jake skate all damn day. But what will my ears do while my eyes observe? Thankfully Jake has made us a list of shit he blasts in his car while searching for spots. He’s thought of everything. What a guy.
