Words by Riki Wells.

It’s been a long year, full of music, art, love, freak weather events, and 20th birthday parties.

Alvvays

So dreamy yet so real, Alvvays is returning to Australia for the first time since 2019, promising to bring their newest offering ‘Blue Revs’ to fans down under. Intricate and addictive, the band is taking their sound all over the country, including a particularly exciting set at the highly anticipated Meredith Music Festival, ‘the world's best festival.’ While some shows on the tour are sold out, test your luck with tickets anyway.

SBTRKT

Some of you will remember the pure electricity coming out of SBTRKT’s early music. Maybe you heard Pharaohs, from that first album, or XL’s re-release of Wildfire. Either way, you know SBTRKT is, arguably, the quintessential experimental pop artist of the early 2010’s. Hitting up the late December festival circuit, and throwing in a couple side shows along the way, it’s gonna be an unforgettable party!
