Disposable: Team Average Japan

The Team Average trip to Japan took place in the fall of 2024 and lasted nearly two weeks.

At the start of the trip, we handed each team member a Yashica color disposable camera. We told them that this was theirs to shoot throughout the trip, that they are encouraged to keep it on them, to photograph the things that are special to them, and that we’d collect them at the end of the trip to process and scan for them. Of the original eight disposable cameras, only three survived and were turned in to be processed. Apparently, what is most special to Team Average is karaoke, and honestly, fair enough. This is how people bond - singing their hearts out with wigs and make up and face stickers. At least we saved some money on processing.

See Team Average through their eyes.

We are pretty sure that the roll above is Craig’s disposable, and that the one below is Fev’s.

Reckon the below is Jaleesa’s disposable, though to be honest, everyone sort of used whatever indiscriminately. Now that’s what I call team work.
