Ever since the inception of the Pub Beer’s Dirtbag Ball, the goal has been stated quite simply, ‘Dress your worst, live your best,’ and last week’s version was definitely the best.

Dressing up and dressing well can be such a chore, so when Dirtbag Ball was invented, not only encouraging dressing down but requiring it to get in - we were sold. A night of beers, hot dogs, beers, music, beers and people who still seemed to catch our eye even when they didn’t have a shirt on. Domino Room was heaving with the best kind of people and we hate to say it, but you missed it!

Any party veteran will tell you that the key to a good party is a dumb outfit. Costumes and costume components should be made available wherever possible. It loosens people up, brings down their ‘cool’ walls, and turns even the lamest of backroom wall leaner into a hilarious jump and dancer. We are glad to see that 10 Barrel are in the know about this trade secret.
